NY-based Susan Woo is our favorite up-and-coming eco chic fashion designer. She’s a major talent; one of her dresses just made Vogue’s December issue. Her first collection is made from 100 percent all-natural and sustainable fabrics — organic wool, cottons, and cashmeres; and her must-have Spring/Summer line is influenced by Faye Dunaway in “Bonnie and Clyde.” Prices range from $345 to $1,250. Currently available at H Lorenzo in LA and Kaight in NYC.

OC native and LA-based George Esquivel is a celebrated designer known for handcrafted luxury shoes with a celebrity following that includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Drew Carey, Seth Green, Gwen Stefani. His classic shoes with a modern twist are painstakingly handcrafted in SoCal and he’s recently added menswear-inspired boots and oxfords for women.
